  • At least one year of experience as a freight broker in third-party logistics.
  • A portable customer base.
  • The ability to produce at least $8,000 in gross margin per month.

What It Takes to Be an Armstrong Agent

What happens once I apply? A recruiter will reach out to you within 24 hours to answer all your questions about the program. Armstrong requires:

  • Industry experience 
  • A portable book of business, minimum of $8,000 a month in gross margin
  • A phone, computer, and internet connection

Requirements to open an agency:

  • Agent agreement (1, 3 or 5 year)
  • W9
  • Direct deposit form
  • A background check (online)
  • Driver’s License or ID
  • Last year’s 1099 (new agent bonus only)

New agents can typically be up-and-running within 48 hours once all documents are submitted.
