Chief Executive Officer
Cameron is the CEO of Armstrong Transport Group. He brings more than 15 years of logistics operations, sales and technology leadership to the team. Beyond the office, Cameron enjoys reading and spending time with his wife and two young daughters. Always one to stay active, he’s an avid snowboarder, practices martial arts, and enjoys the occasional round of golf. True to his Windy City roots, he’s a passionate supporter of Chicago sports, with a special place in his heart for the Bears.

Dave joined Armstrong as the CFO in 2019. With both an MBA and a CPA, Dave is a strong addition to Armstrong. He oversees the financial health of the organization and manages the largest team of employees at the corporate office. Originally from New York, Dave has converted to life in the Carolinas and enjoys traveling to the beach and the mountains with his wife Sarah and their three children.
Fun Fact: Dave is a sports enthusiast and tries to go to as many games as possible. His favorite teams are the Panthers, Hornets, Red Sox and Hurricanes.

Chief Financial Officer
David Burke has more than 20 years of finance and operating leadership experience, including nearly 15 years as a CFO or CEO of public and private equity sponsored companies. As Armstrong's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), David oversees the company's accounting, financial planning and analysis, and treasury functions. His experience leading companies through acquisitions, integrations, financings, and sale processes, combined with his time as a CEO, gives him an operator's perspective that supports Armstrong's continued growth.
Before joining Armstrong, David was CFO of Artivo Surfaces, a private equity backed flooring distributor, where he helped integrate four companies into a platform of roughly $600 million in revenue. As CFO of SyBridge Technologies, he helped acquire and integrate 10 companies in 20 months. He also spent nearly a decade at Diversified Restaurant Holdings (NASDAQ: SAUC), the largest Buffalo Wild Wings franchisee, as CFO and later CEO, leading its sale to private equity. David began his finance career at Federal-Mogul. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.
Chief Technology Officer
Vamsi joined Armstrong in 2020, bringing more than 20 years of experience defining and driving technology strategies for leading companies globally. He is responsible for exploring emerging technologies, evaluating their application to Armstrong’s business, and recommending new approaches and solutions. A master of streamlining priorities, increasing efficiencies, reducing IT costs, and driving implementations, Vamsi is also a passionate leader who strives to empower his teams to support Armstrong’s vision.
Fun Fact: In his leisure time, Vamsi likes to read, travel, take long walks, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Chief Operating Officer
Derrick Howk serves as Chief Operating Officer of Armstrong Transport Group, where he drives operational strategy, performance optimization, and organizational growth. With over 20 years of experience spanning logistics, transportation, and marketplace operations, Derrick takes a data-driven, team-centered approach to scaling complex logistics operations. Originally from Chicago and now based in Atlanta, he's a father of four who values both professional excellence and family.
General Counsel
Emily joined Armstrong after representing logistics companies and carriers as a litigator. She understands the legal relationships between freight brokers, carriers, and shippers, as well as the stringent regulations that impact the trucking industry. Emily's experience and understanding of transportation and logistics are true assets to Armstrong.
Emily relocated from Baltimore with her husband Byron. Since making Charlotte home they have welcomed two daughters to their family.
Fun Fact: Traveling, family, and Thai food keep Emily going!

Senior Vice President of LTL
Ryan is responsible for maintaining relationships with LTL carriers, strategically aligning business needs, onboarding new providers, and overseeing rate negotiations to ensure competitive pricing. Before Armstrong, Ryan served as senior vice president of LTL for GlobalTranz. He also managed the supply chain for a large lighting manufacturer and worked in finance for JPMorgan Chase as part of their Future Leaders Program.
Fun Fact: Born and raised in Michigan, Ryan is a huge UofM fan. He has three sons and, in his free time, enjoys trying to keep his house from being destroyed.

Vice President of People Operations
Cari is an HR professional with over 12 years of experience across multiple industries, including consumer products, professional services, and technology. A North Carolina State University graduate, she has experience in several HR specialties. Before Armstrong, Cari served as the HR leader for a national M&A consulting practice in Atlanta, Georgia.
Fun Fact: Cari is a huge Taylor Swift fan, and she loves to travel internationally!

After an action-packed day in the office, Morgan loves to unwind outdoors, travel with friends and family, and dive into podcasts.
