President and CEO
Brian is the President and CEO of Armstrong Transport Group. He brings years of logistics knowledge to the team. Brian began his career booking freight before transitioning to customer sales, agency ownership and executive leadership in logistics. His tenure with Armstrong began in 2014 when he joined the organization as the COO. Brian became the President and CEO of Armstrong in January of 2019. Being in charge doesn’t stop Brian from bringing the fun to the office through things like the weekly donut runs and the annual Halloween costume contest. Brian, his wife Aimee and their two girls, enjoy long weekends relaxing at Lake James and trips back to the Florida theme parks.
Fun Fact: Brian is a collector of unique cars and loves the Broncos and Peyton Manning.

Chief Financial Officer
Dave joined Armstrong as the CFO in 2019. With both an MBA and a CPA, Dave is a strong addition to Armstrong. He oversees the financial health of the organization and manages the largest team of employees at the corporate office. Originally from New York, Dave has converted to life in the Carolinas and enjoys traveling to the beach and the mountains with his wife Sarah and their three children.
Fun Fact: Dave is a sports enthusiast and tries to go to as many games as possible. His favorite teams are the Panthers, Hornets, Red Sox and Hurricanes.

Chief Technology Officer
Vamsi joined Armstrong in 2020, bringing more than 20 years of experience defining and driving technology strategies for leading companies globally. He is responsible for exploring emerging technologies, evaluating their application to Armstrong’s business, and recommending new approaches and solutions. A master of streamlining priorities, increasing efficiencies, reducing IT costs, and driving implementations, Vamsi is also a passionate leader who strives to empower his teams to support Armstrong’s vision.
Fun fact: In his leisure time, Vamsi likes to read, travel, take long walks, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Chief Marketing Officer
Lauren is the Chief Marketing Officer for Armstrong. She has been working in logistics since 2000 and started at Armstrong in 2012. While Lauren initially handled HR and recruiting her role has expanded to include agent relations, event planning, training, and marketing. The most fun (and stressful) part of Lauren's job is planning and coordinating the annual agent conferences and reward trips in locations like New Orleans and Key West. Lauren, her husband T.J., and their two boys love to vacation together. They plan a family trip every Thanksgiving to a new tropical location.
Fun Fact: Lauren is originally from Chicago and loves the Cubs ⚾ Bears 🏈 and deep-dish pizza 🍕

Moe joined Armstrong's corporate team in November 2021. As an Assistant Controller, Moe is responsible for the month-end closing of the books, financial presentation, and overall business analytics. He helps ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, prepares financial reports and presentations for senior management, and analyzes financial and operational data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
General Counsel
Emily joined Armstrong after representing logistics companies and carriers as a litigator. She understands the legal relationships between freight brokers, carriers, and shippers, as well as the stringent regulations that impact the trucking industry. Emily's experience and understanding of transportation and logistics are true assets to Armstrong.
Emily relocated from Baltimore with her husband Byron. Since making Charlotte home they have welcomed two daughters to their family.
Fun Fact: Traveling, family, and Thai food keep Emily going!

Vice President of Agent Development
Tom has over 15 years of hands-on experience in the transportation industry. Since joining Armstrong in 2011, Tom’s focus has been leading the Agent Recruiting and on-boarding efforts. He strives to set new agent partners up for success. Tom believes if you work together as a team, you will reach your highest potential. Tom enjoys spending time with his wife Kelly and their triplet boys.
Fun Fact: Tom is a huge basketball fan and spends his free time coaching his kids' basketball team and watching the Indiana Hoosiers.

Vice President of LTL
Ryan is responsible for maintaining relationships with LTL carriers, strategically aligning business needs, onboarding new providers, and overseeing rate negotiations to ensure competitive pricing. Before Armstrong, Ryan served as senior vice president of LTL for GlobalTranz. He also managed the supply chain for a large lighting manufacturer and worked in finance for JPMorgan Chase as part of their Future Leaders Program.
Fun Fact: Born and raised in Michigan, Ryan is a huge UofM fan. He has three sons and, in his free time, enjoys trying to keep his house from being destroyed.

Vice President of Operations
Aaron started out at Armstrong as the Director of LTL in our Jacksonville office, and he is now the Vice President of Operations. Aaron has a strong background in management and in transportation. He approaches every challenge with an optimistic outlook and loves to coach his employees. Aaron goes out of his way to ensure every employee is successful. He is down to earth and loves to be involved in the day-to-day at Armstrong.
Aaron, his wife Natalie, and their four children now call Charlotte home!
Fun Fact: Aaron is an avid food forester. What does that mean? He creates forests made out of edible plants.

Director of Human Resources
Cari is an HR professional with over 12 years of experience across multiple industries, including consumer products, professional services, and technology. A North Carolina State University graduate, she has experience in several HR specialties. Before Armstrong, Cari served as the HR leader for a national M&A consulting practice in Atlanta, Georgia.
Fun Fact: Cari is a huge Taylor Swift fan, and she loves to travel internationally!

Director of Technology
Rick has over 20 years of experience as a software developer. He began his career in the United States Army as a Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne. Before joining Armstrong, Rick had a very diverse background, including film and video, finance, housing, event planning, and search engines. As the Director of Technology, Rick leads a team of nine software developers. They create, update, and maintain our transportation management system used by both our internal and external customers. He is always looking for ways to improve our system and develop his team.
Fun fact: Rick played in a chapter of the Junior Olympics as a volleyball player.
